i agree with this dude arch enemy are in between melodic death and just death metal. and there is 1 band that touched on the genre earlyer than in flames...ect and that would be carcass although not entirly melodic. but tbh all these genres mean is that they have elements of particular style, but at the end of the day they are quite simply all just metal bands lol:P
